Mr. Andrew Alexander
Mr. Alexander has been working in the Romoland School District since 2001, and is proud to be a member of the Visual and Performing Arts team here at Chase. He grew up in Southern California, and went to school at the University of California in Santa Cruz, where he earned a degree in Theater Arts. After graduating, he became a bilingual teacher's aide at a middle school, and discovered that he loved working with middle school kids. After moving to San Francisco and earning a teaching credential at San Francisco State University, he started teaching at a middle school in the Bay Area.
In his long and varied teaching career, Mr. A has taught 6th and 7th grade Language Arts, 6th and 7th Social Science, Spanish, ELD, Media Arts, and Art. He currently teaches Media Arts and Beginning Art at Chase Middle School.
Mr. Alexander is married, and has 2 daughters, a cat, and a dog. In his spare time, he loves reading, playing guitar, banjo, and bass, and making model airplanes.
