Master Scheduling Process
Master Scheduling Process
Students at middle school are randomly placed in core subject areas by the automated student scheduling system.
The Counselor and Administrators review at the end of the school year classes for the next school year and look at the student demographics to create evenly distributed classes. Factors they consider to balance include, but are not limited to: sex, special education students, EL students, behavior concerns, and academic achievement levels.
Students are provided the opportunity to select electives and are granted their choices based on availability. Students can qualify for advanced courses with completion of pre-requisite courses.
